New member in Central Texas

Hello everyone! I'm new to these updated forums, but I was a member of some older forums that looked very similar to this set (I do wonder if it's the same community?).

I'm really grateful that this community is here. It's wonderful to read posts from like-minded people.

I'm 35 and living in Austin for now. I'm considering moving to a small town. I'm an agrarian type. I've been reading about voluntary simplicity for 9 years now. I also live a simpler life than I have access to, but I'd still like to reduce some earning and expenses in the future.
