Snow Day!!

woohoo, I am about as excited as the kids! Part of it is not having to creep cross town in the snow and the other is that I have plenty of yarn, 6 star wars movies and 4 seasons of Castle, ingredients for chocolate chip cookies, and have no reason to get dressed today.

I'm in NY, it's still in the 50s, sometimes reaches 60. Not a flake yet, it's disturbing.

Canadian maritimes, freezing rain, ice pellets, and the promise of heavy sticky snow later and yes, school was cancelled!!!!

I don't get to take the day off, necessarily, as a self employed therapist but I did have lots of cancellations and today is the one day each week I spend in a school.

It feels like freedom but it really only means less time pressure to accomplish tasks. Well, I guess that is freedom, in a sense.

Upstate NY with no snow....your time will come, no doubt....

Rural schools in the area are having a FLOOD day. Go figure. But I'd rather have a 4"+ rain in December than snow. :0!
