My dealer tells me that vinegar/water will etch over time.
Regular window cleaner (with ammonia perhaps?) leaves streaks.
Tried 'Rainguard' which is great with a light rain but if the rain gets heavier and you need your wipers, leaves a temporary film that obscures one's vision for a couple of seconds especially at night with oncoming lights so no help but rather a risk in slow-down or sudden stops.
Findflo in a previous SLN forum suggested a 50-50% of water and rubbing alcohol for cleaning eyeglasses. I have used that since then. Tried using it on the inside of windshield with success and it helped remove some of the Rainguard.
What works well in a 4-season world on inside and outside of windshields?
TIA
