When my parents brought me to Canada, it was the best thing that any parent could have done for a child. Thank you to wonderful country for all that it has given me and my family.:thankyou:

Happy Canada Day! I am half Canadian on my Dad's side. When we were little he told us we lived in Canada so we would root for the Montreal Canadiens instead of the Minnesota North Stars. We believed him and insisted on staying up to watch the Canadian national anthem before hockey games because we were so patriotic. One night we were up watching the anthem when a tornado hit our house without warning as the sirens weren't working. Our beds were covered in debris and broken glass, so I credit Canada with saving my life!
