12 month plan to pay mortgage

DW and I sat down and mapped out our twelve-month plan to pay off our mortgage. I am glad to be getting back to mortgage-free status again. (I had a paid for house at age 35 but had to take out a loan for 1/2 of the house value for the buy out. I have since remarried).

August 1, 2012 will be our final payment and can't wait to get there!

wonderful. One of the best days of our lives was when our mortgage was paid. Like a huge weight off our shoulders and we never regretted the sacrifices we made.

That's awesome! We are working on the two year plan. Its tough...I don't know if we will make it in 2 years, but even if it is a little longer I am finding just having a major goal is helping me stick to it.
