Prayer shawl

Hi I', looking for an easy pattern for a prayer shawl to knit.I',m Not the greatest knitter so it will have to be rather easy. Thank you

try browsing the free patterns at Lionbrandyarns.com (I think). Anyway lion brand yarn.. They have a lot of prayer shawl patterns.

Anita, I made a prayer shawl with Homespun Lionbrand Yarn in Meadow. I cast on 60 stitches and knit straight garter stitch for five feet. My mother loves it.

Garter really is the way to go with this yarn as I'm doing stockinette (knit and purl) and it's not quite as snuggly.
