YAY- harvested lettuce and cilantro today in New England

I don't have much left in the garden, but its really nice to still be able to pick something fresh. Just have some lettuces, cilantro, tatsoi (an asian green) and carrots. Too much shade due to low sun this time of year to grow anything, but enough sun to keep stuff alive.

oh yeah?!!! Well! We completed our citrus harvest yesterday in St. Louis, I will probably post photos soon.

citrus?? Do tell! I would love to grow citrus, of any kind. I'm on the same latitude as you.

Eat your heart out! haha. This is our harvest. We could not get migrant workers, so DH handled the whole thing. We made a dozen tarts from the fat, juicy lemon.

HaHaHa What a HUGE lemon! Congratulations. (farm workers are so hard to get these days! They expect stuff like, food. 3 x a day!!)
