A very unusual gift

We are away from home, a ferry away and about 100 kms down the highway. My christmas gift is an MRI at a regional hospital. I have been waiting for it for months and go there in 1.5 hours.

I will be so glad to have it done and the lab works until late this afternoon to fit in all the people they want to fit in.

Then drive up, ferry back and home for 9 pm.

So I am glad to finally be here after all the waiting. Nervous, but glad.

I am grateful for our excellent health care (except long waits for MRI) and that today I am healthy and there is lots of chocolate out there.

back home in our own place. Glad it was done. Took about 40 minutes and it was fine except for my cough. But I had been anxious about it for a while. So glad to have it done.
