Troubled Water

Has anyone else seen this film? It's about a young man who is tortured by his participation in a tragedy with a child who goes missing. Newly released from prison, he tries to make a life and finds himself involved with another child and parents of the missing child.

This is a great film for those who like character based films. Also, it's very interesting that midway through, the film changes point of view and shows situations from the viewpoint of the missing child's mother.

It is a rich film for several reasons: it has moral ambiguity and shows that there is complexity in determining right and wrong, it alternates point-of-view, and not the least, the hero is just about the most beautiful tortured leading man I've ever seen. Yo baby! check him out.

It takes place in Oslo and is Norwegian, I think. Or at least it's from one of the Scandinavian countries. It has English subtitles.
