"The United States should end tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas and require that all domestic corporations pay a basic minimum tax, so that there's less incentive to locate in countries with lower tax rates."

Whoa. Dude. It's the guy I voted for in 2008. Where's he been?

Wherever he's been, it's an election year.

Only comes out on leap years (which coincidentally coincide with campaign years but that's mere correlation ...) So in another 4 years, and a campaign for a sucessor, expect "the real Obama" and Feb 29th both to be mysteriously back again, though both had been strangely gone for the longest time. :laff:

Are you saying we've only had 1/4 of a President for the past 3 years and they just carried him over until we had 4/4 to work with?

I think it's been like the movie "Dave," only the smart Obama's been locked in a closet somewhere.

It's also a matter of priorities, and what would make it through a Republican House of Representatives.

Or what makes it through a Republican House of Representatives and then doesn't get a vote in a Democrat Senate.

Budget? Budget, anyone??
