They Made Main Street Their Own
How Four Women Revived a Derelict Mississippi Town

There is a little something for everyone in it:
- local food
- refurbishing older buildings
- doing things outside the box

It made me feel hopeful.

good article. Some of the comments are a little disheartening because as we all know the story was written for the masses and does have some stereotypes, but all in all a nice pick me up.

I liked this article. Our little town lost all of its tax base industry and only has small businesses. I always thought it could be saved by antiques and become a destination....

Thank you for sharing this! I really enjoyed the article and enjoyed it more when I realized a couple people mentioned were friends of friends of mine. Putting this little town on my list to check out one day.

Thanks! There are lots of run-down old Pennsylvania just waiting for people like this to happen to them!
