Here's our government again, protecting the big corporations and taking a chance with public health. Why is it that a product has to be proven dangerous before it's banned? Why not insist that BPA-loaded food containers be proven safe before they can be sold???

I found this puzzling & discouraging too. I'm an advocate of the Precautionary Principle, especially when it comes to our food & basic health.
