Or, if you're here in the NE with me, we can dance in the rain! My dog Nessie was kind of diggin' it when we went for a soggy walk this morning!

Funny true story... a friend and I were just talking about when we were kids and there were school, district-wide Maypole dances in the local parks...all grades in attendance.
Her 30ish SIL got the most horrifed/confused look on his face and said " you did pole dancing when you were kids??"
Culture is really time and place specific!!

Perfect! I've had some lovely Maypole dances, as I am a Pagan, it's Beltane, and also my birthday. IMHO, this is the best day to be born!

I certainly have Pagan inclinations. Nature is holier to me than any sect or tradition or any notion men can codify. Hope you had a lovely breezy, overcast birthday!
