An invitation for pioneers working toward new economic and social ways of working, creating, giving and investing.
June 28 - July 1, 2012

For those of us who believe the economy needs a dramatic shift to provide sustainable well-being for all people and all generations, this may be the most exciting time of our lives - and the most challenging!

New Road Map is very excited to be co-creating an event that can both support us in the work we do, and challenge us to go further in our advocacy, activism, and innovations for creating sustainable and equitable economics.

Money & Life 2012 is designed as a dialogue between people with diverse concerns and areas of interest -- people who are already in the process of creating global economic shifts, whether on a large or small basis. We are coming together as seekers who are not only advocating for a new economics, but also living into it.

Using a rough-cut of the documentary Money & Life (http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001O2_z3Rz6u8Qm2b3kPCyP4ACznCmx5bM6fxKkQw jn7zEB3RbPlLYSn5s8FeBplz23W6x3dk5TlQz5kp9ZB6iyMkIT T5p-ehRehovgaz-0qBWDYteKmnLYYmzBfQLWXKcD) as a launching pad, we'll engage in discussions and activities designed to enhance our ability to more deeply and holistically walk our talk as the "do-ers" of new economic paradigms in commerce & technology, finance & philanthropy, activism & policy, academia & non-profits.

Developments we're particularly excited about:

-We have nearly 20 FRED Talk* topics ranging from "The intersections of financial, human, social and cultural capital" with Matt Wesley, to "Indigenous economics has values added" with Rebecca Adamson; from "Economic unmentionables" with Vicki Robin, to "Income and Livelihood - work as energy" with Lex Schroeder, and "Money, spirituality, consciousness" with Mayuri Onerheim. (*These will beFrank Relevant Edifying Discussions!)

- Grady McGonagill, one of the early people trained in the Immunity to Change work, will be here to help us increase our effectiveness as we meet these historic times!

- Orland Bishop will be giving the keynote - if you're not familiar with Orland, he has remarkable presence and heart, was the first interview for the film, and is doing work on the edge with gangs in LA.

- Five other interviewees from the film Money &Life will be here, in person or via Skype, including Hazel Henderson of Ethical Markets Media, and John Fullerton, a director at the New Economics Institute.
