I was sad to hear he passed away. I always enjoyed watching his show growing up and then the Matlock series, which I still watch. My kids also watched his reruns when they were young.
Thanks Andy.

Yes, RIP Andy. We also have loved Maybery and sometimes watch the re-runs.

I also watched his shows growing up. I think we need more shows like his and other shows of the 60s and 70s on TV today.

RIP Andy

Ready for inspection sir, (and the toilet seats salute)..............

I get that image in my head every time I saw him. ROTFL

Thanks for the laughs Andy!

Such an iconic figure he was. A true legend that will never be replaced.

The beginnings of a legend. What it was was football!

I was sad to see this. DH is related to him, although not closely. RIP Andy!

Griffith was even more proof that you can be funny and entertaining without being profane or insulting, and instructive and uplifting without being rigid and preachy. He certainly will be missed.

Wish we could all live in Mayberry (well, all of those who want to!)

Godspeed, Andy, sure you are smiling and sitting on a porch in heaven right now.

Thanks Alan. That was good. I'd recognize that voice anywheres!
