City Museum is cool, there is nothing else like it in the world. Its madman inventor, Bob Cassilly, died in a accident last fall as he was using a bulldozer to build his latest mad creation: Cementland. Bob lived in our neighborhood with wife #1 and #2 and was a pretty crazy guy. By wife #3 he had moved out. The Bed & Breakfast on the list is nice, run by Jen in LaSalle PArk who also runs a landscaping business, but the B & B's are best in my neighborhood.

The historic architectural fabric here is wonderful with great buildings and walkable neighborhoods. Real estate prices are reasonable. This is the best city in the midwest, and for those who are shy about crime I just have to say: if you aren't willing to tough it out for the great stuff here, the we don't wantcha. Don't move here, but DO come and visit!
