Am currently besotted with this piano work especially nos. 2 & 4. Thanks to the wonders of technology, I can look up multiple performances of each piece on Youtube and am studying the nuances of each person who plays. It's true that the sound quality varies a lot on YouTube so the best performance may not be clear.

If you are interested in these works (they are all short, 3 - 6 minutes each) check out Branka Parlic's performances on Youtube. Man, that woman has balls. Today(yes my mood varies) I prefer some of the softer versions of Metamorphosis #4, but still she gets some interesting sounds. Her "discordant" section is really strong and is what originally attracted me to this piece.

I am starting to play #4 and hope to have it mastered by the end of November.

I have only a glancing acquaintance with Phillip Glass, but I'm pleased that you're reconnecting with your muse. Mine is off playing slots at the Muckleshoot Casino, I'm afraid.
