about my church, 100 year old stained glass renewed

For the last year the stained glass windows at the church I belong to have been in the process of restoration. The church and original stained glass is over 100 years old and the restoration was done by the same family business that originally put them in. So this weekend we had parties to celebrate the beautiful windows. I ended up at church 2 times Saturday and 2 times Sunday, whew, but it was worth it. Tonight I got to lead meditation and the sunlight through the windows was a really nice touch.

Did see a little bit of the photos and the window in them look beautiful. What a nice thing to have the family business that originally put them in work on them again...

So nice that your church was able to restore them. When I was taking bids for our church insurance a couple of years ago I was amazed at the differences in how some of the companies handled the stained glass, most required a seperate rider and ours is a more modern, abstract wall done in the 80's, couldn't imagine what the insurance companies would of charged for really old glass.

Zoe that's nice, restoring those things are expensive, glad dour church put for the the effort.
