I volunteer once a week at an organization that teaches Refugee women English. They provide free childcare for the women while they take classes, and I volunteer in the nursery with the babies and toddlers. The organization is in Clarkston, Georgia. PBS recently did a special on the town, if you're interested in learning more about this diverse community:

What I'm struck by is how happy these women appear to be. They're so grateful for their freedom and to be learning English.
They carry their babies everywhere, but not with fancy Maya Wraps, Moby Wraps, or expensive slings. They just tie their children to their backs with a piece of fabric.
