The Lion - Nelson DeMille

I love all of Nelson DeMille's books and I just finished "The Lion". Has anyone else read it and if so, what is your take on the ending?

I was shocked by the ending. I kept assuming that the good guys would win. I was in disbelief when I flipped the page and the book was over. Looking back though, a great way to end a great series with John Corey. Phenomenal book. Couldn't put it down.
