I still have a few dishtowels that my grandmother made from a tablecloth that had developed holes. Use it up...

The tablecloth had previously been a part of a larger tablecloth, which she cut in half when it got a hole or stain in the middle.

That is nice Rosemary that you still have them. That is so great how your Granmother really used it up. I would have never thought of that. We need some depression era folks, if there are any out there to give us some tips!
