Anyone know of any good grassroots environmental organizations in New York?... I'm moving their shortly and my partner is eager to get involved in this area... Thanks!

I don't know where in NYC you'll be living, but here's a venue that hosts some great programs:

In fact, I'm going there on Friday evening to meet Peter Bane. My permaculture teacher, Andrew Faust, will be teaching there in February, and if you or your partner are interested in permaculture design, I highly recommend Andrew Faust. He is amazing!!! Plus you meet really neat people.
