Ours will be about 18% this year versus about 15% last year. That's cash donations, not goods donated. This also takes no account of our various volunteer activities either which of course you can't take any deduction for. Our giving is increasing a bit and our income is going down by about 13%. It's our 2nd largest spending category after health insurance. But our savings was almost as much as the 2 combined last year. Your experience?
