Watched this movie on Google Play last night. An amazing all star cast. Seemingly a Quentin Tarantino influenced film. Mobsters, violence, it had a little of everything. The acting was incredible. The plot was...well...not that great. The movie started out pretty good but seemed to lose its way.

All star cast of Colin Farrell (https://play.google.com/store/search?q=Colin+Farrell&c=movies), Sam Rockwell (https://play.google.com/store/search?q=Sam+Rockwell&c=movies), Woody Harrelson (https://play.google.com/store/search?q=Woody+Harrelson&c=movies), Christopher Walken (https://play.google.com/store/search?q=Christopher+Walken&c=movies).

No matter which angle I looked at it from, black comedy, mobster movie whatever...the movie to me was not that great and lacked direction. Given many of my favorite actors are in the movie I really wanted to love. I just couldn't do it.

Two out five stars. Lost potential.

That Colin Farrel, he's yummy. Sorry it wasn't any good.

I loved that movie. One of my recent favorites. I think Sam Rockwell is great and he was at his best in this.

I respect Quentin Tarantino as a director, but I cannot watch his movies because of the violence. It's not even that there is gratuitous violence. Violence is the yarn he knits with, and I just have a hard time watching it without flinching and covering my eyes. I might as well be at the doctors getting a shot every five minutes.

I haven't seen this movie (yet? dunno if I will), but I really wanted to when I first heard about it. I loved Martin McDonagh's (the director) In Bruges. I haven't heard anything good about Seven Psychopaths, though, so you aren't alone. CaseyMiller, see In Bruges if you haven't yet.
