A friend was laid off from T-Mobile and took the positive step to convene a community from the group of the newly unemployed.

Very nice. I'm sure it will feel weird to some who are newly laid-off and want to curl up at home and hibernate, but it's smart to stay engaged, even if you don't feel like it, with a like-minded community. Good for her!
