Hey all:
I watched First Reformed last night with my lady friend.
While there are a couple gruesome scenes I must say it was a beautiful, though morose and complicated, film.
It stars Ethan Hawke and Cedric ("The Entertainer").
My ladyfriend said it "was one of the most disturbing films" she has ever seen.
I mostly thought it was powerful and compelling as a drama. The film was also ideologically lush.
I strongly suggest seeing it!
