intended to do a few extra today, but my lunch break got eaten up in little bits, and then my “other son” (ds best friend) dropped by for a big chunk of the evening. It was good to see him.

I did nothing on my project today. Will get back at it tomorrow.

i am up way too early this morning though. I’m not really ready for my morning classes and the weather did not accommodate me by shifting the freezing rain earlier in the day, so it looks like only the afternoon classes (which are fully planned and I am excited about) will be cancelled.

Yes, I have to. I should have done 5 yesterday, but I really needed a student free day. Not that I managed to avoid thinking about my students, but at least no actual work was done >8).
So I'm up to #85 on writing but have taken the last few days off to focus on some other pressing goals.
It's very inspiring though to see what progress everybody else is making.
Chicken Lady, I totally understand the need for a break. You are tackling a big project and will get it done a bit at a time.
