Got rid of a bunch of stuff Saturday with a quick garage sale with a girlfriend. Most of what didn't sell I donated. Gave a hightop table and 4 chairs to my son and STB DIL for their new apartment....
In addition to good maintenance, I suggest being a prudent driver - easy on the gas, easy on the breaks, no crazy high speeds, etc. I drive like what I am, an old(er) woman, lol.
Having a pop-up garage sale with a girlfriend tomorrow morning. Hoping to get rid of a lawn mower, trimmer, and about 6 square feet of stuff.
If home healthcare aides can earn money and benefits by helping families, allowing other wage earners to earn at their capacity, I would think that helps the economy. This issue is particularly...
I hope Biden gets his plan through Congress. My first thought was it reminded me of Eisenhower's interstate system in the 1950's. It helped create a robust economy - now we need to step it up and...
We're in Topeka. They chose the new Japanese Garden that's part of the Zoo. More expensive, but more room and very beautiful. They could move it inside to the reception hall if necessary....

Some dementia patient caregivers have had luck with it (oral) for their loved ones to calm them during "sundowners" time. Others have not.
I passed one of those last year! I was driving north in I-35 north of Wichita. When I was coming up from behind it, I thought it was some weird tanker trailer (round rear-end). Cracked me up.
3 sweaters/top out to the garage sale stack. My son took an extra set of jumper cables we don't need anymore.
The idea is to sell in a hot market and lay low in a rental for a few months until the market cools down and more houses are available. My Realtor says there are usually 300 houses on the market this...
Tilapia, roasted asparagus and some leftover new potatoes and Red Lobster biscuits.
I'm in Topeka, KS and our real estate price swings are much, much milder than on the coasts and larger cities in the midwest - like Twin Cities, etc. I'm very confident that more houses will be on...
She's about 65 pounds - that adds an issue to work through, for sure.
I'm embarrassed to say I live in Topeka, home of the Brown v. Board site and I've never gone in. I'm not sure if it's open up yet, or not.
I've been working towards getting our house ready to sell for a couple of years now and we're about there. It's a split level, and I'm ready for a ranch so we don't have to haul groceries and laundry...
Shame on him!
