Cash in I Bonds for CDs?

CD rates are now higher than I Bond rates. I'm thinking of cashing in my I Bonds for CDs.

I will lose three months interest, but it might be worth it for the higher CD rate.

    Thoughts?

If this refers to the Republicans, then I would like to say that they tend to be the party of "profits over people". I would not call them "citizen friendly"

    Gas prices

I get the feeling that we are just beginning to see a permanent rise in gas prices. Peak oil production is coming soon or is already here. I remember back in the 70s when gas prices rose and everyone...

How to spot a scam website

Ok, so I purchased my first two I Bonds on TreasuryDirect.gov. My question is, how do I know the site is genuine and not a fake. I know scammers can make websites look very real. My guess (and hope)...

Can someone explain I bonds to me?

I went to Treasury Direct.gov and still don't quite understand how I Bonds work. Can someone explain to me? It sounds like a good place to park some short term savings.
