I don't have a problem with the Public Policy forum discussions.
Someone above posted about how the original site was tied to YMOL and that is why I found it. That was also the most appealing part of the old site. That is what drew people in, looking for a better...
What Tammy said. She needs a marketable skill set. The news is full of people with useless degrees.
In my Mother's time what your daughter is doing was referred to as geting your MRS degree.

I don't understand arguing/discussing a situation where not a single one of us can actually DO anything either way. Is it to soothe something in our own brains?
'Our new $10.00 per month iphone plans' is the name of the thread on Money Mustache.
There is a Great thread over on Money Mustache about this topic and keeping the costs down, way down. Go read it and it will answer a lot of your questions.
Wonderful story and wonderful meaning. Thanks!
I don't make the bed and I hate tucked in sheets. I have a top sheet and a quilt. Sometimes I'll pull them flat across the bed and sometimes I don't. It doesn't matter one way or the other. I shut...

Well, there's one thing, you know ahead of time what sort of people they are so you can choose whether or not you want to work with them. Better than finding out after.
Got two orders mailed on time. Yay me!
Changed the sheets. Yay clean sheets!
Gorgeous 55+ weather. Yay Mother Nature!
A friend used to call it Meeting Insurance. For a dollar or two you could sit through a meeting dreaming about what you'd do with the money. Same thing now, just bringing out larger dreams. Cheaper...
*grin* I'd be bounding around on painkillers too. Imagine it suddenly not hurting! Yay!
As I mentioned in a previous post I have some acquaintances that are getting all wrapped up in 'the prophecy' and behaving very strangely.
Part of me was about to ask "But didn't you just spend...
Ok, the short version, a friend of the family, that I have to see and/or socialize with two to three times a year, because she's important to a close family member, has started spouting all sorts of...
Wow cdttmm! That was a great post. Well laid out with good information. Thanks!
I typed sHrug smiley, not smug. I couldn't think of another gesture for 'either way works'.
I read, but rarely post because most of the topics are not of interest to me.
The ones that do catch my attention, I read the answers, many of which will already have said the same thing I was...
