Tonight is the brown rice and lentil casserole I made on Sunday.

I have made eggplant pizza - basically sliced eggplant is the "crust". Bake for a bit turn over, top with whatever you want and bake more. I've had to play around with the recipe, but always edible....

It's really hot, but I still fired up the oven for homemade pizza on sourdough crust - plain, spinach and muchrooms 'n green peppers.

Not a big deal to most people, but one of those little things that just makes me happy. Finally got rid of all the old, stained cloth napkins and bought a brand new pack of 6. LOL.

Still over $4 a gallon here.

Spaghetti with meat sauce. Realized we haven't had spaghetti in a while. (I don't really eat pasta any more, so I had the meat sauce on two pieces of toasted homemade sourdough bread.)

Sounds like you've set things up where you can go away and leave any work cares behind! Have a safe, wonderful trip.

If money is not part of the equation, I usually cut back on things I already have enough of or don't want/need any more of.

The two items put out on the sidewalk on Saturday are gone. Unfortunately, it was via garbage pickup, but they are gone.

Our county fair started this past week, so spent the day at the fair yesterday and had fair food for dinner. Headed there again today with the kids, so will probably be the same. Fun time!

Have two items out on the magic sidewalk. If they get picked up by someone - YAY! If not, garbage pickup is tomorrow.
