I am about to get my third windshield replacement in 3 years because of the heat buildup from having my car sit on a hot asphalt parking lot all day. A tiny chip in the windshield in the morning became a 10-inch long crack when I came back out at 4:00 pm. I even had the sunshades in, but all of my windows were closed to the top - guess I should have left one open about an inch or so to let heat dissipate, but oh well.
One disclaimer: I just got the Solar Auto Fan tonight so I'm really hoping this thing works because I'm sure my insurer doesn't want to pay for a 4th windshield!

Cool. What I am searching for, help me if any have seen this or similar; I have the small crank or solar flash light, charger, radio. I think a larger unit would be super. Not sit outside type, but larger to hold more power while still able to sit on window sill.
