    More good news!

Yesterday the last tube in my body dating back to my recent surgery was removed and also I was discharged from home health care. I was also told that in another four weeks or so I could start picking up banquet shifts again and that by the time the season starts, I should be good to go with banquets again. All of this is really good news. I'm so glad, especially about the wound healing as when I left the hospital it was so deep and so wide I really did not see how it was going to heal but I put a good face on it and it's healing like I was told. As you continue to improve, the wet blanket that is hypothyroidism should lift and you'll feel reborn. When your thyroid doesn't work properly, getting out of bed is a depressing chore.

That's great Rob! Aren't they still doing that method for gall bladders that just uses a small incision? Maybe they were doing more exploring.....??
The body is pretty darned good at healing! Enjoy your new energy!

They couldn't do the small incision in my case.....too many gallstones is what I was told. So they did it the old fashioned way but I'm getting to the other side of it now, and it's nice to be on this side of the experience, let me tell you.....Rob

Don't I know it....fifteen years of struggling to get out of bed and this morning I just got out of bed with no struggle. It's amazing, absolutely amazing! Rob

That's fantastic, Rob. This is turning out to be a great year for you.

On a related note, one of my co-workers healed quickly from a wrist fracture, and she credits part of that to an aural healing CD that she listened to many times. I haven't checked that out yet but thought I'd pass that on as a potential aid in your healing.
