When I left banking I swore I'd never have a job again that required panty hose and I burned a drawer full of hose and donated all the office suits and heels. I haven't put a pair of hose on since.

After I left the company I'd been working for, I was sorting out all sorts of work-related papers when I found a photo of my boss and colleagues : i burned it immediately, and said "With this photo, I burn all the wrongs you did to me, you have no power over me and as this photo's ashes disappear in the sink hole, so you all mercifully disappear from my life". It felt good
