Hi Steve, I'm new since you've been away and it sounds like you've been a great contributor here so I look forward to reading your posts. My dh is a photographer also.

Whew! Steve!! I wondered if something awful had happened, truly! And glad it didn't. Glad to "see" you again.

As a photographer, whose daughter is getting married, I hope you know that a selfie of you walking her down the isle, doesn't qualify as a pro billable photograph.

    Welcome back.

    Darn....!

Actually, I was asked if I wanted to be the wedding photographer (the bride's bio-dad will be at the wedding and DSD was in her mid-20s when DW and I were married, so I'm not her dad by any stretch). I was flattered, but suggested they find a wedding photographer -- someone who's photographed a few weddings who would know the drill and what kinds of pictures people would expect to see.

I actually take a little heat because I rarely take pictures of people. I can (in fact, a portrait I took was just published in a local monthly paper), but people are not my preferred subject material.

Yay! Glad you're back! Nothing really new with me, just working long long hours. More work drama!
