Our new house has a small sauna in the pool bath. I've tried it out a couple of times but that's it. What's the benifit? How long should you sit in it, I've done 45min. Do people that use them regularly see any benifit?

When I used to go to a gym many years ago they had a wet s as una and it helped my acne clear up. For hot dry saunas you cannot have high blood pressure or a heart condition or you cannot use them. They make you sweat out toxins through the pores and that is one of the main benefits. It does feel good to take a cool shower afterward. You are circulating your blood this way, first in the sauna the blood spreads out all over your body and then in a cool shower the blood moves back toard the organs. Some water therapy is done this way from warm to cool water and back and forth for awhile to force circulation in areas where people may not be able to move a , body part.
You can also put som pure eucalyptus essential oil on a wet washcloth and put it on the bench. It is very good in many ways.
Enjoy! Chris
