It sure is! I ache but it is so great to be able to be out there, weeding, digging, rearranging. Knowing I can still get up and down from the ground. Knowing the work will be visible to me for a long while and will last...if I get the mulch on soon enough. Glorious.

Did estate planning myself and went to see the attorney today to verify I did not miss anything. She said I was the most organized person she has ever seen and wanted to know what I did for a living. She was shocked that I completed a form that is normally done by attorneys (????). It was no big deal! The deed to our house will be transferred to our son when we die, thereby, avoiding probate. Paid $30 and an attorney would have charged $200. All it entailed was going to the courthouse and filling out the form and paying the fee???? I am thrilled to have this chore off my list!!!!

    frugal-one,
we have the same thing here in AZ. Our state has several different deeds for real estate, and one of them is called a "Beneficiary deed." Easy to file and also inexpensive.
For most people their homes are their biggest asset, so it's great to have that be able to transfer upon death without a court action.

I just submitted my first picture book manuscript! I have been using the 100 day challenge, a writers' group and a new critique partner who helped so much to get this to happen. I'm very pleased! Jumping for joy.

Thanks Rosa, I didn't even know I wanted this...willing to just write for fun, but my critique partner guided and pushed me along. Now I'm very excited!
