I’m sitting here on my deck, enjoying gorgeous May evening with a cool breeze. Looking at my spectacular view across the Missouri River Valley. Listening to the carillon concert that takes place every evening at 7 PM. Any deadlines I have are days and weeks away. Yay!

Okay---When in Rome, do as the Romans do. When in Stuttgart, do as those very efficient & industrious Germans do. Jah. Sooo, put out your cigarette, grab a paint brush & bucket o' stain, and get busy on that deck. Jah. Hope that helps you some. Thankk mee.

It's the little things today. Sitting outside without all the Canadian wildfire smoke in the air. Light breeze to keep temperature in the perfect range. Not to mention pulling a huge clump of hair from the shower drain in just one attempt earlier today while cleaning the shower. So freaking satisfying!! Haha!!

It's raining here, and I'm gazing out my upstairs window at leafy green trees. It's like living in a terrarium.

This is the first time in my six years here that I have seen so much rain here on the front range of Colorado. My gardens look like little rain forests with everything blooming lush and green.

Two of my son's childhood friends are visiting and we got to spend a couple of hours them yesterday, which was absolutely lovely--have known these boys since they were in second grade and to see them all grown up and happy and happy to see us--we were said it felt like "all was right with the world." Absolutely lovely experience.
