LOL! About 2 months ago, DH mowed a few new trails through our fields. Last night, on our nightly cart ride, we saw this. It was a deer in the field, and a redwinged blackbird was very ticked off with it. It must have been too close to it's nest (in the weeds). It kept attacking the deer. It sort of reminded me of the birds that sit on the heads of hippos. The deer was not bothered in the least by it, and eventually just casually walked away. Our rides have been so much fun lately.........deer, bunnies, woodcocks and all other sorts of birds, dragonflies, hawks, turkey vultures, great blue herons. I told DH....."This is like being on a safari!"
