    Good neighbors

Our next door neighbors have a lovely vegetable garden and this year it has been especially abundant. They have shared with us cucumbers and tomatoes and green beans, enough that I have not purchased any since May. Today he brought over okra, tomatoes, cucumbers, and basil. Since I no longer can garden, it is such a pleasure to have such nice neighbors!

That's fantastic! It's nice to give extra home grown produce to people who will enjoy it. My garden is doing really well, but it's not producing yet. I planted late this year, though...

A friend of mine gave me some eggs, and they are delicious!

    That is so nice.
I didn't garden this year....I'm hoping a friend will leave a few things on my porch this year. Even though I have chickens, my mail lady left me eggs yesterday.

Those really are good neighbors! That's great to hear.
