I don't think this is bad for everything I own, all fitting in my closet and 3 drawers in a shared dresser. A few notes- no, I do not have any fancy works clothes since I am in college full time right now. I sold all of my work apparel, keeping the 2 nice dresses for my needs. Being a teacher, most places are pretty casual but groomed, so I will worry about this when needed. All piece are interchangeable and mixable. I can layer as needed. Navy is my base color. It looks better on me than black, which is too harsh. I try to keep my pink in the medium tones, so it all goes. Baby pink does not work on me. The pumpkin orange is just something fun this year and the burgundy is for my college colors and it looks nice on me and blends in with the rest of my wardrobe.

I have cut down my wardrobe by over, I would say, 65% at this time. I am still going to edit as I go and I may even do the Project 333 and see what I can come up with. It's been fun playing around with things and I am really working hard at defining my own personal style. Pinterest has been a huge help along with just laying stuff out on my bed and trying new combinations.

Can I ask why you want white shorts? I always sit in something within 5 minutes in white pants/shorts/skirts.

Nice job paring down though. And a very comprehensive list! I would not have included my luggage.

I'm still not quite fitting into my closet and drawers. Getting closer though.

Thanks!!! White shorts- I usually wear them to the beach...I wash them and put them out in the Texas sun and they naturally bleach out. They are a denim/cotton blend with a light hand to them, so they are super comfy. White pants- I wear to a lot of dressier events and again, just wash in cold and let the sun bleach them. I had dogs, cats, kiddo and a hubby, so something is always smucking me up. But I don't mind.

I always have to have white pedal pushers or crop pants and a white sweatshirt in my wardrobe.

Instead of taking an inventory, we have divided our closet into thirds. We each have 1/3 of the closet for clothes (or about 3-feet of space), and the other third is a shared shoe rack and hubby has a pull-out pants rack. Through the years, we discovered that amount of space is how much clothing we really need/use. We keep off-season and funeral/wedding/special occasion clothing in the basement closet.

I do have an extra closet upstairs that holds my hubby's suit and dressier clothes. I am going to put my dresses, dress shoes and my suitcase up there. I try to keep everything else together because Texas weather can be so finicky. Not right now, it's just Texas hot but from September through May, you just never know what you are going to get. LOL
