I think it's a double edged sword that Amazon is used by third party vendors. If I order through the biggest seller on earth, I expect to be covered through the biggest seller on earth, not to suddenly find out I have to negotiate with the prince of Nigeria. While it's nice to have so many options and competitive pricing, I don't think it's appropriate to lump things that are covered as they should be with things that come from back alleys and have to do due diligence on which is which.
