of course my memory is flawed so I had to look it up because I remember having to struggle with Broadchurch's accents and turn on subtitles so I thought it was two distinct shows. Gracepoint was done by Fox, one season, I liked both but Broadchurch I liked more.
I was willing to pay - but since I can't right now : http://thewatchseries.to/serie/Doctor_Who_(1963) - have to watch these on the computer but there are more old episodes here than Hulu had. If anyone tries it, I'd be concerned about viruses (I'm on Ubuntu which is safer) and some of the links don't appear to work, but I've had good luck with the vodlocker.com ones. But I'm still able to work my way through the old episodes - for now. Production quality is awful even by old Doctor Who standards, but William Hartnell is interesting as the first Doctor.
I just finished breaking bad today. Watched the whole 5 seasons in about a month. So good.
I would STRONGLY recommend ANYONE that tried one of the above (same name, different address after the . ) to ONLY be on a LINUX or BSD machine when viewing these. I don't have access to anywhere near a current Mac, but I know it has stuff that effects/affects Windows systems. (sent a link to a parent and they tried it on their Windows machine, not following directions).
Not sure on the comment on production quality, because some of those OLD episodes were recovered from tapes over the years and then they tried to clean them up (lucky to have them at all). Some episodes would be priceless if recovered just for shear laugh value (found one part), Doctor Who at the OK Corral.
I am able to stream the Mike Pollan series called "Cooked". I have been a Pollan follower and think it just became available. The first episode is much about connecting the ffod we eat to it's source and starts out showing some elder Aborigine women pulling 3 foot iguana lizards from their borrows, cleaning and then cooking them on an open fire. That was great.
I just caught up on the last two seasons of Girls. I cannot stand the one who is Brian Williams' daughter. Lena Dunham, she annoys me sometimes but I love her and what she is trying to communicate through her work.
oops, not sure if on netflix but I'll leave it up for anyone who has not gotten to see Lena Dunham, I know it's on HBO GO
I am very much enjoying Silk from UK and the Man Who Would Be Bond
On Netflix, I kind of like Atypical. Also watching part 2 of Making a Murderer which is interesting but not quite as compelling as the first.
