    $4.00 a gallon for gas

That is our discounted rate and it has come down in the last few months. But if oil is selling for so much less, why isn't it lower. Now I know in Canada and BC we are paying taxes on the gas, but still why isn't it lower?

How does gas price at the pump and the cost of a barrel of oil work.

Is that an imperial gallon? Here, a smaller US gallon of gasoline ranges between $1.49 to $1.79 and diesel fuel between $1.79 and $2.09.
