This time the Games were held in Florida. The Games have received a lot of coverage here. How About in the USA?
This was a lovely story about an American competitor

This is first I have heard of the Invictus Games.
I've been reading about Prince Harry's involvement in the Invictus Games. I don't think they get as much coverage as they should here in the US.
Thanks for sharing the article!

They were quite well covered in my part of Canada due to Prince Harry's visit. The new Prime Minister Trudeau made some effort to indicate support which was not considered highly enough but the need for these games was well supported.
Prince Harry was inspired by the US military's 'Warrior Games' to start the Invictus Games. This is the second games, I think the first was in 2014 in the London Olympic stadium.
The Paralympic Games get full coverage in the UK but I believe they don't get a lot of publicity in the US. I wonder why they can't get airtime? Is it that your advertising industry thinks that those who are less abled are not worthy of media attention?
I have seen the coverage here in the US!
I've been reading about it and it sounds like a very good thing. A close friend of my dd's is shooting for the Paralympics (dressage) and who knows? Maybe she'll go in to Invictus!
I always try to watch the paralympics, and the Invictus Games are just a wonderful way of reinforcing how people can overcome HUGE obstacles. Very life-affirming.
PS good luck to your friend's daughter.
