I think its like peeling layers of onion. You just work through it eventually you get to the end. Good Luck!

Apparently, my landlord doesn't like Marie Kondo since I came home and found my dresser drawers open and stuff messed up. Now, I want to rewash everything. I know landlords have a right to inspect but looking at my drawers in my drawers is over the top IMO.
Anything missing? Sure you weren't robbed? Any reason not to expect a left in an as found condition? (landlord isn't a prison)
Landlords have to give notice to inspect and you have the right to be there. They can't just drop in when you're gone.
Landlords in my region have the right to enter at will and inspect at anytime with or without notice. That information is in every rental contract in my state. Nothing was missing but I don't like it. Ironically, I had a container of change in the drawer above the ones that were still open. Maybe the landlord looked in there. I toss coins in there until I have a lot for rolling or I use the bigger change when I need to make copies at the library. Even if a landlord notified a tenant, they can't take a day off work at the spur of the moment every time there is an inspection.
Wow - I didn't realize it varied by state
Yes, I used to hold off wearing certain dressy items except for "special" -- but forget that!! ***I*** am "special" enough to make any occasion fine for anything in my closet. Now I wear my satin jacket to work once a week---people keep asking "where are you going tonight?" It's fun!
