Hello all,
it seems strange, sometimes, when I hear of the time pressure stress of modern life, why it is that everyone doesn't live this way. Why, just a few years back, did I not think about what I was doing ? Life should surely stimulate the creative urge to live well, whatever your circumstances. Sometimes constraint, like having little money, can result in novel ways out. Necessity is the mother of invention, as they say. It was the lesson of constraint that changed my ways, and I resisted and stormed against it. At least the green fayre, camp out half of me knew that slow was not an insult, followed by a pay cut.
I remember a T. V. prog. about an African chap who collected dumped drinks cans and formed them into toys and sandwich boxes. I think he made a little folding press to do it. Well, that really floats my boat, and I have felt compelled to make something worthwhile out of plain provisions ever since..
I am looking forward to learning lots..., and I hope that, from this remote corner of the Celtic world, I can contribute something useful.
