John Beeby,a soil scientist, intensive gardener, and long time associate of John Jeavons(How to Grow More Vegetables) has been working on a Harvest Planner app that allows you to design a Complete Nutrition Garden and see how much garden space each crop would need. Version3 is available which does the basic functions. More components are in the works as he obtains the funding.
Will post the link below. Also I have an older computer and have been experiencing an aspect that... works slowly. So don't know if it's their website or my computer, but here's what's happening and how to work around it. When you put in that you are female to the add a person section or click on categories of crops to add, part of the info will be visible on the screen. And you will need to scroll down for the rest, but it will be temporarily frozen. When you go to the down arrow on the right edge of the screen, you may see a ghostly faint arrow below the down arrow. If so, move the cursor to the down arrow, remove your hand from the mouse, and wait for the second ghost arrow to disappear. Then you can scroll down normally and click on what you want to.

They also plan to add components in the future. Here is what is planned.

For people who are new to Complete Nutrition Garden designs, you design it as if you were eating the exact same amount of every item every day for the program to calculate the nutritional aspects. In reality part of the crops store well and others you want to have a steady supply of fresh items which are likely seasonal in nature.

If you experiment with designs in the app, would love to know what the garden looks like.

If you’d like to discuss the more kitchen-oriented aspects of this type of garden, there’s a thread going in the Food section of the forum.
