This one is fun. Not squeezy. You don’t have to watch the diving part. The fun part is what they have to do before diving. Driving through farm fields. Donkeys in the next field.

Cavern/intro to cave class will be Oct/Nov.
Got a lighter pair of tanks after seeing another woman with them. Only 20lbs each. Fab!
Was at Devils Lake in WI yesterday. State park. First time being around other people who aren’t divers while I’m diving! People were hiking on the little road between where we were parked and the little beach where we entered the water. Lots of questions. One guy said he wished he could dive but he was a scaredy cat. I told him if I had the balls to do it, so did he! The look on his face was priceless! Remember, I was scared of the deep end of the pool! Devils Lake is gorgeous. We saw a bald eagle while we were floating on the surface.
Funny pic from yesterday.

Lovely, Tradd. Thanks so much for sharing your experiences with us.
As Cicero said, “Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others.”
Tradd, These posts just make my morning! I'm so inspired by you. Thanks for sharing your journey.
Finally got to see how I look sidemount and with my new tanks. I look FAB! The woman instructor said I looked awesome! This is much better than two tanks on my back! I'm horizontal like you should be.

So are the tanks under your arms? Do they get in the way of your movement at all? And thanks for posting - diving is something I'll never do - I don't even swim- but it's lovely to hear about it and see it virtually!
No, they don’t get in the way. And if you have to shut them down in an emergency, they’re right under your arms. Much easier to see which one might be leaking and to shut it down. With two tanks on your back, you can’t see what’s leaking and doing a valve drill behind your head was like wrestling with a demon for me! Not easy at all. This is so much easier.
