A mutual friend of OH friend and I took this pic on my 99th dive. We were following a line on the bottom (you can see it at the bottom of the pic) from a training platform to the old quarry rock crusher. I am just thrilled with what this picture shows. I'm pretty horizontal, not kicking up the silty bottom, etc. At the beginning of the season, I was hanging onto that line!

That is a pretty and interesting image.

Recently I have become attracted to natural emeralds because they have that murky green appearance with inclusions that mimic deep water objects. Each emerald is unique, like an underwater scene. This photo reminds me of a good emerald.

I'm delighted to report I'm on the verge of going down another pants size (this would be the second)! . The only drawback is that at the far I'm going I'll have to replace my drysuit sometime next year, which is an expensive proposition. Several thousand dollars! But the hope is that I will be able to fit into a stock size suit and not have to pay for a custom one (which would be an upcharge of at least $300).

I love natural emeralds with the jardin, but that picture reminded me of the guy who killed his wife on a scuba dive in Australia, for some reason. There was a chilling photo taken of her used in evidence at the trial. Oh morbid me.

I went to Mermet Springs, a quarry in far southern IL this weekend with two friends. I swam through the 727 from the movie US Marshals (late 1990s) that is sunk in the quarry!

    Video I took!

I also rode an underwater motorcycle! Probably the only such ride I'll take!

Love the sound of your bubbles in the video and how sobering to dive through the airplane. Motorcycle is just funny!
Congrats on the smaller pant size!
Float On: My "Happy Place" is on my little kayak in the coves of Table Rock Lake.

This is amazing, both the video and the motocycle image. Good job!
